Intro
Another name used to describe God is omniscient which means ‘all knowing’. 1 John 3:20 says ‘God knows everything’.
God totally knows himself and all things that he has made and all things that happen now and in the future!
Psalms
Psalm 139 says, ‘Lord you have examined me. You know all about me’
Look up verses 2 – 4, 6 and 16 to see what God knows about us!
Psalm 33:13 -15. It says, ‘The Lord looks down from heaven. He sees every person. From his throne he watches everyone who lives on earth. He made their hearts. He understands everything they do.’
Story
I remember looking down at the ground from an aeroplane window just after take off on a school trip to Romania – the cars looked like ants and the people where just little specks, and there were little towns and I could see all the houses in rows and patterns, the bigger office buildings and shops and the factories. And I was thinking that God knows each person down there, even the ones I can’t see inside the houses and buildings; he made every single one of them and knows what they are thinking and how they are feeling.

Creative Prayer
Find a quiet place, just you and God. Close your eyes and imagine God looking right into your thoughts and feelings.
Enjoy that close relationship you have with God – he loves you.
Share with him what’s been going on in your life, good and bad, and how it makes you feel. Say sorry for the things you need to, and thank God that he knows all about you and for how close and caring he is.
