Moses was a great leader of the Israelites, but he was never their King. When Moses was young
he was adopted by an Egyptian princess, so he grew up a prince, but never became a king. Exodus 2v1-10
Gideon was one of the Judges of Israel in the time before they had Kings. After had lead the
Israelite army in a God won battle over the Midianites the people called for Gideon to be their king, but Gideon refused and
told them that only God should be their ruler. Judges 8v22&23
David was the second king of the Israelites and he was one of there great kings.
Jonathan was the first son of the first king of Israel, he should have become the second king, but his father didn't
follow God's commands so God made Jonathan's friend king.
Jehoshaphat was a good king of Judah. He worshiped God and encouraged his people to do so as
well. 2Chronicles 17v14
