We would pray at all times. Many people call out to God when they are in trouble but ignore him the rest of the time. God wants to talk with us all the time so we must remember to keep talking to him.

We should not just pester God with our prays for ourselves. God wants us to pray for each other. It is important that we find out what other people need prayer for so we can pray for them and they can also pray for us.
When we pray, we are speaking to God, the creator of the universe. When Elijah prayed that there would be no rain, no rain fell for three and a half years. God is very powerful, so when we pray our prayers are very powerful.
