The Revelation of John is a book of prophecy. It is a message from God to John and to all Christians about how God will be victorious and one day the world will be returned to how he first created it.
In Chapters 2 and 3 we read about specific messages given by God to seven churches. These
prophecies were for the people at the churches to tell them what they were doing right
and what they were doing wrong. The prophecies also explaind what would happen if they
continued to act in the same way and what they must do to please God.
Each one of us can
receive messages from God for ourselves, our families or our churches.
